3 Bean Salad with Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

3 Bean Salad

  • 1 15 oz. Can Black Beans Drained
  • 1 15 oz. Can Great Northern Beans Drained
  • 1 15 oz. Can Black Eyed Peas Drained
  • 1/2 Medium Red Onion Finely Diced
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro Finely Minced
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice Or juice of half a lime
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil

Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

  • 2 Cups Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice Or juice of half a lime
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro Finely minced
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper


3 Bean Salad

  1. In a large bowl combine all three cans of beans that have been drained. Mince the cilantro and dice the red onion and add to the bowl of beans.

  2. Add olive oil and lime juice and mix to combine. Place in the fridge to chill until it is time to serve. 

Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly to combine. If you would like a thinner consistency add small amount of water, 1 tsp at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

  2. Serve on top of bean salad!
